How is farming done in Europe?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

In Europe, the ownership structure of farms is different from that in Argentina. There are many small owners of small plots, and the structure doesn’t allow for, for example, the widespread use of contractors.<\/p>\n

In our country, contractors (service providers) are responsible for 90% of the grain harvest (harvest contractors) and 70% of the sowing (planting contractors), with the remainder being the responsibility of the field and equipment owners.<\/p>\n

In Europe, the field owner owns their work equipment. The self-unloading harvest hopper is also used for sowing, meaning the tool is maximized as capital.<\/p>\n

The field owners utilize the hopper to its full potential, using it for harvesting and loading the planter. The self-unloading hopper is used year-round, during both harvest and sowing seasons.<\/p>\n

Hoppers in Europe typically use a bogie, a widely used rolling system with a single axle (central rocker axle), four tires, and tractor support. This system increases the tread area and reduces ground pressure as the tires are aligned together. This type of machine can be used on all types of terrain for harvesting and transporting grain to silos on consolidated roads.<\/p>\n

Arnaud has a 24,000-liter ST hopper with a boggie, adapted for sowing, and a 20,500-liter FL hopper with a boggie, traditional for harvesting.<\/p>\n
