How do you work in the fields of Europe?
In Europe the ownership structure of the farm is different from that of Argentina. There are many small owners of small plots of land and the structure does not envisage, for example, the existence of contractors on a widespread basis.
In our country, contractors (service providers) are responsible for 90% of the grain harvest (harvesting contractors) and 70% of the sowing (sowing contractors), with the rest falling to the owners of fields and equipment.
In Europe, the field owner owns the equipment. The self-unloading harvesting auger wagon is also used for sowing, i.e. the tool is maximised as a capital outlay.
The field owners use the auger wagons in its full capacity, they use it for harvesting and for loading the seeder. The use of the self-unloading auger wagons is year-round, at harvest time and at sowing time.
Auger wagonss in Europe usually use a boggie, a widely used skidding system, with one axle (central rocker arm), four tyres and tractor support. This system increases the footprint area and decreases the pressure on the ground as the tyres are aligned together. This type of machine can be used on all types of land for harvesting and transporting cereals to silos along consolidated roads.
Arnaud has a ST 24.000 Lts. auger wagons with boggie, adapted for sowing and a FL 20.500 Lts. auger wagons with boggie, traditional for harvesting.
We are Cestari and we reach different places in the world. We love to tell you these stories and the development of our products around the world.
