Cestari Tridem Axis

High load capacity, stability and grip on difficult terrain

Capacity and Stability
Increased load capacity: allows you to transport heavier and larger loads.
Improved stability: provides greater stability to the vehicle, especially on uneven terrain or slopes.

Handling and Drivability
Improves traction: Improves vehicle traction, especially on slippery or low-grip terrain.
Good handling on soft ground: More easily passes over soft terrain thanks to its larger tread area and weight transfer to the tractor.
Facilitates handling on difficult terrain: Makes the vehicle easier to handle in difficult terrain, such as fields with deep ruts or rocky terrain.
Maneuverability: Very good for docking and tight turns, increasing the safety of tractor-trailer maneuvers.

Maintenance and Costs
Reduced tire wear: Reduces tire wear, extending tire life and reducing maintenance costs.
Wear, maintenance, and repairs: Low, thanks to front and rear steered axles and leaf springs that absorb flexural stresses.
Economic rationale: Higher initial cost, but with low operating and maintenance costs that exceed the initial cost in the medium term.

Safety and Environment
Improved safety: Increases the safety of the vehicle and its load, especially in difficult driving conditions.
Soil compaction: Reduced soil compaction in crop fields, thanks to its larger tread area and lower ground pressure.
Environmentally friendly: Reduced fuel consumption, between 7% and 10% less than 6-wheel, two-axle trailers.

Efficiency and Performance
Improved efficiency: Improves vehicle efficiency, especially over long distances, reducing fuel consumption and operating costs.
Braking system: Increased safety in all types of grain transport, both loaded and empty.

Features and Uses of the Tridem Axle

The tridem axle is a 3-axle rolling system equipped with 6 wheels, providing greater load capacity, stability, and traction on difficult terrain. This translates into greater efficiency in grain transport, reducing loading and unloading times and minimizing the risk of accidents.

-Features: 3 axles with leaf springs (two steering axles, one front and one rear; and a fixed center axle), 6 tires, and brakes on each wheel.

-Suitable uses: on trailers with a load capacity of 35 to 50 tons, for harvesting on all types of terrain, and for hauling and transporting grain on consolidated roads.

    (Optional) New!

This system, patented by Cestari, offers a new benefit to users of our hoppers, allowing them to operate them more safely by preventing the discharge tube from opening and closing while the cardan bar is in motion.

    Fire Extinguisher (Optional) New!

Equipment designed for rapid response to the beginning of a fire.
Prevents the spread of fire on equipment or crops.
Strategically placed in the hopper, since the tractor driver is always the first to see the accident,
and it can be moved closer or further away from it independently of the machine, always having a better view of the situation.
