Marina Zain has been the Supply Manager at Industrias Metalúrgicas Cestari for two years. Her passion for what she does was revealed a few days ago on the program of renowned Colón journalist María Elena Chejmanek. Today, we’re revisiting some of her quotes, and especially a beautiful message from Marina.
«I’m in the warehouse,» says our protagonist, adding: «I give the workshop staff everything they need to assemble the hoppers, I build the stock, I deliver everything related to bolts, bearings, etc.»
Key to Exports
She also plays a fundamental role in a key task for Cestari: exports. She is responsible for preparing all the accessories that accompany a hopper that will be shipped to different parts of the world.
Regarding this, Marina tells us: “I prepare all the details, nuts and bolts, plastics, paint, and various other items that make up the hopper and are needed for its complete assembly,” and adds: “A job like this takes me about four hours per export hopper.”
Regarding her arrival at our factory, Marina Zain recalls: “I’ve been at Cestari for two years, and when I joined, I found a team that helped me a lot. With everyone’s help, I was able to adapt. Even though I had bolting knowledge, I had to learn.”
A team is always better.
Marina openly says she’s happy with her job, but she always prioritizes the idea of teamwork, the construction that can only be achieved with the help of others who share a common goal. “It’s teamwork, and this company in particular is like a family,” she says happily.
A quote from Marina has stayed with us all. It speaks of the pride in accomplishing our work. Marina concludes: “It’s a pleasure to see the finished work. For example, when I see a hopper in the field or along a road, I say how proud I am; I feel part of that hopper.” And that is undoubtedly the feeling of those of us who are part of Industrias Metalúrgicas Cestari.
Marina Zain in full swing, proud to be part of Cestari Metallurgical Industries.
