This week, Industrias Metalúrgicas Cestari participated in Expoagro Digital, the virtual exhibition of Argentine agriculture. During the three-day exhibition on the Expoagro platform, Néstor Cestari gave a talk entitled «A Family History, 4 Cestari Generations, 93 Years of Life.»
There, he shared with hundreds of viewers the history of Cestari, his identity, the role of the 4th generation, and, to name a few, various anecdotes.
A Photo and the Memory of Nino Cestari
In an emotional conversation, Néstor showed a photo and added his description: «This photo is from 1930, when the grain tanks began to be built. It’s a historic photo of our factory. You can see the carts with wooden wheels and the trucks that were fitted with those tanks. We still have one at the entrance to the factory.» The photo is an invaluable document for the history of the company, especially because of the people who appear there, as Nestor expressed it: «In the tank that is on the ground, at the tip is Andrés Cestari, my grandfather. On the hood of the truck is «Nino», Juan Fernando Cestari, my father, and immediately above the tank is Don Ángel Sansoni, a lifelong friend. People with whom Cestari, had and has historically had a great relationship.»

The discussion took place during a very significant week, as Néstor Cestari expressed: «September 11th would have been my father’s 97th birthday, and this photo brings back a beautiful memory and makes us remember him fondly.»
